Greg Bennett was born and raised in Maryland. In 2005, after receiving his graduate degree in Business Administration at West Virginia Wesleyan College, he moved to Maine where he began to see things in a different light.

As a self-taught photographer, Greg is constantly exploring new concepts, styles and subjects. He began his exploration of photography by capturing scenic and nature images of the Maine woods, coast and lakes. As his skill sets grew in photography, he felt the need for more of a challenge and decided to work on photographing people.

Greg began investing time into wedding photography and at the same time began working with individuals interested in modeling, acting and photography. This is when Bennett's ideas and work started to define itself and become noticed. His work is crisp, fresh and innovative.

Some of Greg’s recent accomplishments include winning first place in 2011 and second place in 2013 in Photography at the Bangor Art Society Juried Show. Greg has been a judge for Maine’s Next Top Model Competition in 2009 and 2010. He also has work that has been published in a number of local advertisements, online clothing companies and retail stores (including DejaVu Hair Salon).

Greg is currently working on developing a fine art style to his photographs. He has been focusing more on the small and little details that most tend to miss and take for granted. With a strong drive to present his work in more future shows and galleries, he plans to keep this desire high on his priority list.

Beauty exists everywhere, take time to enjoy every little moment in life.
